From an idea to a product – Sigma Technology to offer in-house services from Jönköping

Sigma Technology Mid provides consulting services in embedded systems, electrification, software design, and digitalization. The in-house services will complement the company’s offer and help Sigma Technology clients at any stage of the product development. Mattias Gudasic is appointed as a Business Area Manager for the In-house Services.

After many years of experience as a consulting partner, Sigma Technology Mid will now offer their clients an opportunity to outsource product development, from a vision to a solution. The new offer will enable a client to take full part of Sigma Technology’s back-office expert competence, from full product lifecycle projects to smaller support assignments.

“We have a fully equipped lab in Jönköping where we can develop complete products within embedded systems. By outsourcing product development to us, we can contribute to our clients’ goals of reducing manufacturing costs, time-to-market, and enhancing product performance,” says Mattias Gudasic, Business Area Manager for In-house Services at Sigma Technology Mid.

With the new in-house services, Sigma Technology Mid aims to be a leading provider of engineering services and products to customers with high demands on innovativeness, dependability, cost efficiency, and quality. The in-house services will help companies with ambitious goals for electrification, digitalization, and improved connectivity of their products and business.

“The recent year of lockdowns and remote solutions has proven the importance of digitalization and high connectivity for all kinds of businesses and organizations. We have a close dialogue with our customers and see a huge potential to support them becoming more digital and automated,” adds Mikael Karlsson, President at Sigma Technology Mid.

The Sigma Technology in-house experts can take care of the development, testing and validation, quality control, and support. The in-house services will cover software, electronics, power electronics, mechatronics, and digitalization expert areas.

Jönköping is a start point for in-house services, but the plan is to expand the offer to other sites around Sweden.

“Jönköping is perfectly located geographically, giving us proximity to metropolitan (big cities) regions and clients. There is a lot of high-tech expertise here, and we see a strong need of product development and electrification in the region,” adds Mikael.

Mattias Gudasic has over 14 years of experience in the automotive industry, from being a system engineer, project manager to line manager. He has built R&D departments both in Sweden and Europe but also North America and Asia, and he is eager to support companies with the new in-house services:

“I am looking forward to helping our clients become more successful in their visions and development. Our offer will help them get a full-cycle partner able to support them on any stage of product development from concept creation, development, quality control, to aftermarket,” adds Mattias.
