Student Opportunities at Sigma Technology Göteborg

Sigma Technology is proud to announce our strengthened relationship with local universities in Göteborg, and would like to introduce the students currently working with us. We have seven students working with us at the moment, three as student ambassadors and four as interns.

The student ambassadors represent different universities in Göteborg, and are a local contact for all students wishing to know more about Sigma Technology and Sigma IT&M. They are also involved in planning and participating in student fairs.

Nena Stojova is a final-year student, studying Software Engineering and Management at Gothenburg University, based next to our office in Lindholmen. Nena will cooperate mostly with our Information Development department, to learn more about that business area.
John Johansson is a third-year student, studying Software Engineering at Chalmers University if Technology. John will cooperate with Sigma West, one of our sister companies and a member of Sigma Group.

Alexandra Angerd is a final-year student, studying Embedded Electronic System Design at Chalmers University of Technology. Alexandra will cooperate mostly with our Engineering Services department, to learn more about that business area.

There are currently two different internship programs at our Göteborg office. One assignment is focused on marketing and marketing communication, and the other assignment is focused on developing a prototype electric car.

Karin Jernberg is a final-year student, studying Sales and Marketing at the Sales and Business School (Sälj&Marknadshögskola) in Göteborg. Karin will be cooperating mostly with our Information Management department, on the marketing assignment.

The assignment for developing a prototype electric car involves three students: Anneli Dunghed, Daniel Robertsson, and Sebastian Rhodin. They will be continuing the research two interns did last year, regarding steer-by-wire, and will investigate drive-by-wire and brake-by-wire.

Sebastian Rhodin, like Daniel, is a final-year student, studying Mechatronics Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology.

Anneli Dunghed is a final-year student, studying Electronics Engineering at the Vocational University (Yrkeshögskola) in Göteborg.
Daniel Robertsson is a final-year student, studying Mechatronics Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology.

Find out more over the next few weeks, as we interview the students to learn more about them and as they learn more about Sigma Technology.
