Peking University has chosen Sigma Technology to develop and deliver courses in technical writing for Master students at Peking University (PKU).
Sigma Technology has been present in China since 2006 and has become the leading company within technical writing and information logistics in China. As a key player within the field, Sigma Technology was approached by the linguistics department at PKU and asked to develop and deliver a course in technical writing.
Peking University has a long history and is the number one university in China, only the absolute top students from each province are accepted each year. “We are very proud that Peking University chose to cooperate with us in this field. We are now also exploring if we could expand the cooperation further within research.”, says Fredrik Wenneberg, president Sigma Technology China.
Sigma Technology has a long history in university cooperation. We currently cooperate with Linnéunivesitetet in Växjö, Högskolan I Malmö, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics as well as Peking University. “Research and teaching cooperation with universities keep us in the forefront of information logistics and makes it more easy for us to recruit the top students”, says Fredrik Wenneberg.
The course will start in September 2011 and is worth 3 university credits in China. The course is developed by Sigma Technology and the lecturers will be some of our most experienced consultants and managers from Sigma Technology China.
